The former Texas Tech weapon will return to the Big 12 as a Wildcat.
One year after Kansas State tried unsuccessfully to persuade him to reconsider a transfer commitment to Boston College, the former Big 12 wide receiver is returning as a Wildcat. Bradley is expected to sign with Kansas State, according to 247Sports sources.
Jerand Bradley, a career 1,300-yard receiver with over 1,400 career snaps at the Power Four level, will rejoin with Matt Wells, the head coach he previously pledged to after graduating from Desoto High.
Bradley has been pursued by another former coach, current Oklahoma assistant Emmett Jones, after entering the transfer portal for the second time on December 9th. He just completed trips to Norman and Manhattan.
The ability to play an instant role in a familiar offense is believed to have favored K-State for the wideout, who has only one year of eligibility remaining.
Bradley, who is 6 feet 5 and weighs 222 pounds, had a terrible season in the ACC in 2024. Bradley had his lowest receiving performance of his career, with only 94 yards, but he made the most of his limited opportunities, scoring touchdowns on two of his six grabs. Averaging 14 yards per reception during his undergraduate career, the former Top 65 receiving prospect in 2021 adds another significant target for Avery Johnson in what will be a remade corps for Matthew Middleton next year.
The native Texan received scholarship offers from 15 different big institutions after graduating from Desoto High School, and he has historically been a reliable option for his quarterbacks. Bradley was targeted 165 times and dropped only eight passes, according to Pro Football Focus. His 62.6 run blocking grade over the last three seasons outperforms all of K-State’s returning receivers, including newcomer Tibbs.
