Great News!!!: Panthers Breathe A Sigh Of Relieve As They Confirm The Return Of Two Key Stars For Their Key Match Against Cardinals

The Carolina Panthers are set to receive crucial reinforcements for their Week 16 game against the Arizona Cardinals. Wide receivers and another key star, both previously listed as questionable, are expected to play despite recent injuries.

According to Adam Schefter on X (formerly Twitter), “Panthers WR Jalen Coker, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a quad injury, is expected to play vs. the Cardinals, per source. Panthers WR David Moore, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a concussion, also is expected to play vs. the Cardinals, per source.”

Coker, an undrafted rookie, has been recovering from a quadriceps injury that kept him out for three consecutive games before returning in last week’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Although limited in practice this week, he is set to play for the second straight game—the first time since Weeks 9 and 10. His return is especially important for a Panthers receiving unit missing rookie Xavier Legette, who is sidelined with a hip injury.

Panthers get much needed boost in the passing game on Sunday

Coker has demonstrated glimpses of promise in his limited action this season, offering the Panthers a valuable deep-threat option to complement veteran Adam Thielen. His return adds much-needed depth to the receiving corps as Carolina looks to sustain offensive momentum and provide quarterback Bryce Young with additional targets.

Meanwhile, David Moore, a seasoned veteran, has cleared concussion protocol after fully participating in Friday’s practice. Approval from an independent neurologist confirms his readiness for Sunday’s matchup. Moore’s experience and dependability will be crucial as the Panthers aim to take advantage of the Cardinals’ secondary, which has struggled against versatile receiving groups this year.
