Injury Report: Dynamic Playmaker Ruled Out Of Bills Vs. Patriots Matchup

If the New England Patriots are to pull off a massive upset over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, they will be without one of their best playmakers.

Marcus Jones, a cornerback for the Patriots, was ruled out of the game on Friday. Jones, a reliable defender, has also had the opportunity to demonstrate his skill set on the opposite side of the ball in recent weeks. He took a pass 18 yards on his only offensive snap against the Cardinals, and the Bills will undoubtedly recall Jones’ 48-yard touchdown reception against them two seasons ago.

The only other player the Patriots have ruled out for the Week 16 game is third-string running back JaMycal Hasty.

New England did have a pair of new players appear on Friday’s injury report. Jabrill Peppers and Keion White are both questionable for the game against the Bills due to hamstring and groin issues, respectively. Friday’s practice had a restricted number of participants.

Sunday’s game between the Patriots and the Bills begins at 4:25 p.m. at Highmark Stadium.
