Breaking News: Auburn Major Key Star Enters Transfer Portal

For the ninth time this offseason, another Auburn Tiger has declared their intention to enter the transfer portal.

Junior safety after spending three seasons with the program, has become the latest player to announce his transfer.

A 6-foot-1, 191-pound safety, played in 28 games during his three seasons at Auburn, starting in nine of them. Over his time with the Tigers, Wooden recorded 41 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, four pass deflections, and two interceptions.

Rated as a three-star recruit by 247Sports, Wooden was ranked No. 852 nationally and No. 70 among safeties in the class of 2022. A native of Lawrenceville, Georgia, and an alumnus of Archer High School, he was the 17th-highest-rated player in Auburn’s 2022 recruiting class.

Wooden is the first defensive back from Auburn to enter the transfer portal this offseason and the first among the nine Tigers who have entered to have played a significant role on the field.
