Bills Receive Groundbreaking News Regarding Captain Terrel Bernard

The Buffalo Bills made a statement on Sunday with a 30-21 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bills, who are

now 9-2 heading into their bye week, outperformed the Chiefs on both sides of the ball, outgaining them by more

than 100 yards. Terrel Bernard, Buffalo’s defensive captain and linebacker, topped all players with eight combined

tackles, a sack, and the game-clinching interception on the Chiefs’ last drive.

Bernard was selected the AFC Defensive Player of the Week for Week 11 in recognition of his overall dominant performance. Bernard has received this accolade twice in his career. He first won the title in week three of the 2023 season.

Despite missing three games this season, Bernard’s leadership has contributed significantly to Buffalo’s success. He presently has 57 total tackles, one sack, and two interceptions.

“He’s just a playmaker,” defensive back Cam Lewis explained. “He leads our defense and ensures effective communication. He consistently makes plays. That is what he does, and he demonstrates it every time he is on the field.” Bernard now has time to properly recover and prepare for the last stretch of the regular season. He missed the Bills’ playoff game against the Chiefs last season, but if the two teams meet again in the 2017 postseason, he might be a game-changer for Buffalo.
