Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl has been hard at work on the recruiting trail, with the Tigers’ 2025 class adding its third member—and second commitment this week. Four-star power forward is the latest player to join the Tigers, committing to Auburn after his official visit, about 1.5 months prior.
He is a 6-foot-8, 230-pound power forward from Houston, has become the highest-rated recruit in Auburn’s 2025 class, ranking No. 44 nationally according to 247Sports. Known for his defensive versatility, Williams-Adams is a highly switchable defender who can guard multiple positions and effectively keep opposing guards in front of him. He’s also shown flashes of strong rebounding, with the ability to rebound in traffic and tip balls to himself. Although his average of 4.1 rebounds per game is modest, it’s partly due to his defensive responsibilities pulling him away from the paint.
Williams-Adams chose Auburn over offers from top programs like Alabama, Baylor, Houston, Kansas, Purdue, and Tennessee. He was drawn to Auburn’s family-like environment and Coach Bruce Pearl’s emphasis on developing big guards and forwards.
With Williams-Adams’ commitment, Auburn’s 2025 class is now ranked 14th nationally by 247Sports. He joins fellow commitments Kaden Magwood, a four-star guard from Charlotte, N.C., and Simon Walker, a four-star guard from Huntsville, Ala., in what’s shaping up to be an impressive recruiting haul for Pearl and the Tigers.
