Just In: Nebraska Football Receive Mind-blowing News Regarding Former Coach

Former Nebraska football assistant coach Carl Pelini was reportedly assaulted following a high school football game in Ohio. Pelini, now the head coach at Cardinal Mooney High School, was involved in an incident after his team’s 20-6 loss to Warren Harding. According to a police report filed with the Youngstown Police Department, Pelini was in his office when a player’s father entered and allegedly “sucker punched” him in the face.

The altercation reportedly stemmed from a verbal exchange between Pelini and the player regarding an on-field incident during the game. As stated in the police report, the father forcefully entered the office and questioned who had been mistreating his son. After a brief conversation, the father allegedly struck Pelini, causing injuries that included bleeding near his left cheek and chin, and possibly broken ribs.

Witnesses, including other coaches, told police that the father knocked Pelini to the ground and continued to punch him. The fight was broken up by the coaches, and the father then left the scene. The player was also reportedly involved in the physical altercation.
