Breaking: Bills Rule Out Key Asset for Chiefs Just Before Showdown

The Buffalo Bills will face a massive test in Week 11 when they play Patrick Mahomes and the unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs at Highmark Stadium. The Bills, who are 8-2 and second in the AFC, hope to close the gap on the 9-0 Chiefs, who lead the conference and are two-time defending Super Bowl champions. Buffalo enters the game with some noteworthy absences from their squad. During his weekly interview on WGR550, head coach Sean McDermott stated that tight end would miss the game due to a knee injury. Kincaid, who has 356 receiving yards and two touchdowns this season, will miss the first game of the year.

McDermott said the team will take Kincaid’s recovery “one week at a time,” making his return unclear. In Kincaid’s absence, tight end Dawson Knox is expected to play a larger role. Knox has 142 receiving yards and one score this season, and his performance will be key in helping the Bills’ offense against Kansas City. Rookie receiver Keon Coleman (wrist) and linebacker Matt Milano (bicep) have been ruled out, putting Buffalo’s depth to the test.

Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes, two excellent quarterbacks, will face off. While Allen leads the regular-season series 3-1, Mahomes has dominated the postseason, leading the Chiefs to three playoff victory over Buffalo. With Kincaid out, Allen will rely heavily on Khalil Shakir in the passing game and James Cook to generate a solid ground attack. As the Bills attempt to dethrone the AFC’s top team, their weakened roster adds a degree of difficulty to what figures to be an exciting primetime game.
