One of the nation’s leading college prospects has switched his commitment between two SEC rivals.
A 5-star wide receiver from Ackerman, Mississippi, revealed on that he’s changed his commitment from Alabama to Ole Miss. He confirmed the decision on social media, stating, “Home is Home!”
Alabama and Ole Miss are having comparable seasons, with both teams still firmly in the College Football Playoff race. Each team started the year ranked in the national top 10, faced two losses, and has recently regained momentum.
Ole Miss is fresh off one of their most significant victories in recent program history, having defeated No. 3 Georgia last week. The fans’ enthusiastic celebration led to a notable penalty from the SEC.

Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin had two previous roles at USC earlier in his coaching career, and his tenure as the Trojans’ head coach ended controversially. In 2013, Kiffin was famously dismissed by USC at an airport, but as he’s mentioned over the years, things ultimately turned out well for him. Kiffin is coming off what could be the biggest win of his coaching career, as his No. 16 Rebels defeated the No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs last weekend.
Additionally, he shared some exciting family news on social media Wednesday that could see him connected to USC again—this time, through his daughter. Kiffin announced on X that his second-oldest daughter, Presley, has officially signed with USC to continue her volleyball career after committing to the program in March.
The Mater Dei High School senior, playing for the California powerhouse program, is listed as an outside hitter on MaxPreps. In her senior season, she recorded 230 kills and totaled 49 blocks.
