Luka Jovic was forced to depart the warm-up before AC Milan’s match against PSG yesterday night, and so did not appear. According to a report, examinations were conducted today at Milanello, and an injury has been ruled out.
The Serbian has battled to get into condition since joining Milan, and his absence yesterday was again another example. Jovic conducted tests at Milanello earlier today, according to Sky Italia (via Francesco Nasato), which ruled out an injury.
However, the striker is suffering from exhaustion and may miss Sunday’s game against Napoli. Fortunately for Stefano Pioli, it appears that Noah Okafor, who has also been suffering from exhaustion, will be available to replace Olivier Giroud up front.
It remains to be seen whether Ruben Loftus-Cheek will be able to return in time for the big game. Milan, which is looking to bounce back from two painful defeats, could certainly use him and his talent.
