Since last season, Tyler Bass has struggled with consistency, leading to a noticeable dip in his confidence. The recent addition of potential kicker replacements to the Bills’ roster has only added pressure.
This season, Bass has missed three extra points and three of his 15 field goal attempts, bringing him under heavy scrutiny. That pressure may have contributed to his missed extra-point attempt in the third quarter against Miami on Sunday.
Despite the challenges, Bass came through when it mattered most, kicking a career-long, franchise-record 61-yard field goal to secure the Bills’ victory over Miami. His biggest supporter, wife Ryan Tuten Bass, has stood by him through ups and downs, especially since he missed a crucial 44-yard attempt against the Chiefs in January 2024.
After Sunday’s win, she celebrated with a simple Instagram story directed at the Bills Mafia: “DID.THAT.” Bass’s record-setting kick brought emotional reactions, even from quarterback Josh Allen, who teared up after the game.
This NFL season is full of highs and lows, but Buffalo is unwavering in their support of Tyler Bass!
As a result of the kick, donations have continued to stream in for the Ten Lives Club, a non-profit organization in Blasdell, NY that Tyler Bass has long supported.
