Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen now has the second-most regular-season passing touchdowns in franchise history, surpassing Joe Ferguson (181 passing touchdowns). Allen’s latest franchise-defining moment was a game-changing 63-yard catch and run against the Miami Dolphins.
Allen set a new franchise record with 182 regular-season passing touchdowns barely halfway through his sixth season with the Bills. Allen may now focus on Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly, who has 237 career regular-season passing touchdowns. As of this writing, Allen lags Kelly by 55 touchdowns.
The question is when, not if, Josh Allen achieves the great heights set by Jim Kelly.

Bills Defeat Dolphins After Tyler Bass’ Game-Winner
The Buffalo Bills clinched a tight 30-27 victory over the Miami Dolphins at Highmark Stadium on Sunday, strengthening their lead in the AFC East. The game was decided in the final seconds when Tyler Bass hit a crucial 61-yard field goal, a big moment for Bass after some early-season kicking struggles. After a slow first half that saw them score just six points, the Bills’ offense came alive with three second-half touchdowns, all through the air from Josh Allen.
Allen finished with 235 passing yards, three touchdowns, and one interception, including a notable 63-yard catch-and-run touchdown by rookie Ray Davis. Davis led the Bills in receiving with 90 scrimmage yards and a touchdown, while Khalil Shakir added six catches for 50 yards, filling in with Amari Cooper absent.
Defensively, linebacker Dorian Williams, and safeties Damar Hamlin and Taylor Rapp each tallied 10+ tackles. Returning from injury, linebacker and defensive captain Terrel Bernard contributed eight tackles. Despite the win, Buffalo’s defense struggled to contain Miami’s backfield, as DeVon Achane and Raheem Mostert combined for 119 rushing yards and a touchdown, with Achane also catching a team-high seven passes for 59 yards and a receiving score.
With this victory, the Bills advance to 7-2 and hold a 4.5-game lead over Miami in the division, a significant cushion as the season progresses.
