News Flash: Patriots Receive Ground-breaking News Following Scary-Looking Injury

The player showed signs of his usual form in the New England Patriots’ 15-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins. The fourth-year running back contributed 89 rushing yards and a touchdown, although he briefly left the game after taking a hit to his lower leg.

“I just felt a helmet right into my leg, right into my calf,” Stevenson explained to reporters in a team-provided video. “I just had to make sure I was good. I was, and it felt good to get back out there.”

Stevenson mentioned that he doesn’t expect to miss any additional time due to the leg injury. Last season, he had his season cut short by a high ankle sprain, but he appears optimistic about avoiding further issues this time around.

Chad Ryland had a challenging rookie season in 2023 after being selected in the fourth round by the New England Patriots out of Maryland. Notably, he missed a game-winning field goal against the New York Giants, which ultimately helped the Patriots secure the No. 3 pick to draft Drake Maye in the 2024 NFL Draft. However, he also made a memorable 60-yard field goal to clinch a Christmas Eve victory over the Denver Broncos.

For the 2024 season, the Patriots decided to go with Joey Slye, leaving Ryland to find a new team. This week, he signed with the Arizona Cardinals and quickly made an impact. In a divisional matchup against the reigning NFC champion San Francisco 49ers, Ryland successfully made three of his four field goal attempts, including the 35-yard game-winner, leading the Cardinals to a 24-21 victory.

Ryland outperformed his former team on Sunday, as the Patriots suffered their fourth consecutive loss with a 15-10 defeat to the Miami Dolphins.
