The Colorado Avalanche shared on social media that forward exited Thursday’s game against the Utah Hockey Club due to an upper-body injury.

The details surrounding the injury are unclear, but his last shift took place midway through the second period. Earlier in the game, he scored his seventh goal of the season with a one-timer from a cross-ice pass by Mikko Rantanen, giving the Avalanche a 1-0 lead.
