SHOCK!!! Dodgers Confirms Unexpected News Regarding Head Coach

The Miami Marlins are on the hunt for a new manager after Skip Schumaker, who led the team to the postseason for only the second time in 20 years, will not return for the 2024 season. The year was challenging for Miami, as injuries plagued the roster and resulted in a 100-loss season. Following Schumaker’s departure, the Marlins are making significant changes.

One potential candidate to replace Schumaker is Clayton McCullough, the first base coach for the Los Angeles Dodgers, who is interviewing for the Marlins’ managerial position, as reported by insider Isaac Azout on X.

McCullough, a former minor league player and manager, has served as the Dodgers’ first base coach since 2021. His name frequently arises whenever a team is in search of a new manager. He previously interviewed with the Cleveland Guardians for their managerial vacancy but lost the position to Stephen Vogt. Additionally, he was considered as a possible replacement for Craig Counsell in Milwaukee before the team opted for Pat Murphy. McCullough has also had interviews for managerial openings with the Kansas City Royals and the New York Mets.
