Breaking News: Georgia Football Player Lands Deal with NFL Team

The Georgia Bulldogs have been making waves in the NFL this season, thanks to some outstanding performances from a variety of individuals. The team has had 33 players drafted in the last three years, and those athletes continue to demonstrate why the Bulldogs have been one of the greatest programs in the country in recent years. One of those drafted players was defensive lineman Zion Logue, who was just signed by a new team.

The Atlanta Falcons selected Logue in the sixth round this offseason and transferred him to the practice squad after the preseason. However, the Buffalo Bills have signed Logue off the Falcons’ practice squad.

The Bills have a couple of former Bulldogs on their roster, including running back James Cook and center Sedrick Van Pran Granger, who both played with Logue at Georgia.

Logue was a dependable defensive lineman for the Bulldogs throughout his career, and he made a significant contribution during his senior season. He ended his career with 52 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks. In his final season, Logue recorded 17 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 0.5 sacks. The former Georgia defensive lineman became a key member of Georgia’s defensive line in recent years, appearing in 28 games.
