Latest: Tech Raiders HC Joey McGuire Reveals Star Unlikely to Play this Weekend Due to Injury

Texas Tech’s football team released its updated injury report, which included standout wide receiver Josh Kelly. Kelly, a transfer from Washington State who leads the team with 31 receptions and 376 yards this season, is listed as “questionable” due to an ankle injury.

However, head coach Joey McGuire expressed optimism earlier in the week, stating he’d be surprised if Kelly doesn’t play against Cincinnati this weekend. Should Kelly be unavailable, McGuire mentioned that Jordan Brown, Drae McCray, and Brady Boyd would need to step up in his absence.

Additionally, the injury report features other key Red Raiders, including starting linebacker Ben Roberts (shoulder), edge rusher Amier Washington (hip), and cornerback Bralyn Lux (thigh).
