Breaking: Star QB suffers terrible injury ahead of Pittsburgh Steelers v Los Angeles Chargers

The Pittsburgh Steelers will play the Los Angeles Chargers at home next Sunday, but who they will meet is uncertain. During the Chargers’ 26-3 victory over the Carolina Panthers, star quarterback Justin Herbert was rolled up on by many teammates.

He entered the blue medical tent and remained inside for barely a brief time. While Herbert did return, he was noted with a pronounced limp after the game and claimed to be injured. More testing on the Chargers quarterback will be conducted in the coming days.

Herbert only had 130 throwing yards against the Panthers, but he did have two touchdowns and one interception. He suffered a plantar fascia injury in his foot in July and has only recently recovered. Herbert did not specify the location of his leg injury, but he did undergo an MRI following the game.

If Herbert is unable to play next week, the Chargers will start Easton Stick as a backup. Herbert has only 274 passing yards after two games, but the Chargers have averaged 197.5 yards per game in their first two wins over the Las Vegas Raiders and the Carolina Panthers.
