LATEST: Packers Confirm Major Set Back As Another Star Suffers Serious Injury

The Green Bay Packers are set to face the Philadelphia Eagles in São Paulo, Brazil, on Friday night. However, they might be without rookie running back MarShawn Lloyd, who is recovering from a hamstring injury. Lloyd’s status improved to “limited” in Wednesday’s report after being marked as “did not participate” on Tuesday.

A surprise addition to the injury report on Wednesday was second-year tight end Tucker Kraft, who was listed as “limited” with a back injury, potentially altering Green Bay’s offensive plans.

Since the Packers are traveling and not holding formal practices, the participation reports are estimates. However, Green Bay would like to have Kraft available for the season opener.

Kraft, who started his second season on the PUP list due to a torn pectoral muscle sustained in the offseason, was activated last month. While he missed preseason action, he reportedly performed well in the final weeks of training camp. In his rookie season in 2023, the former third-round pick recorded 31 receptions on 40 targets for 355 yards and two touchdowns.

If Kraft is unable to play, the Packers will likely turn to Luke Musgrave and Ben Sims at tight end. Despite the uncertainty around Kraft and Lloyd, Green Bay remains a 2.5-point underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook heading into the game.
