Chris Hilton is expected to be a huge piece of the LSU offense

With Brian Thomas Jr. and Malik Nabers departing for the NFL, Hilton is anticipated to make significant contributions to Brian Kelly’s program this season. In two seasons in Baton Rouge, the junior has only made 18 catches for 278 yards and one touchdown.
However, he appeared in only two games as a freshman and seven games last year, leaving him buried on the depth chart. Hilton should now be a top target for new starting quarterback Garrett Nussmeier.

Hilton is officially listed as questionable by Kelly, but he still has time to prepare for Sunday’s game against the Trojans. In Week 2, LSU will face Nicholls before going to South Carolina and ending the non-conference schedule with games against UCLA and South Alabama.
