Spurs Stanley Johnson has signed a contract with Turkish club Anadolu Efes, the team announced.

Johnson was chosen by the Pistons as the eighth overall choice in the 2015 NBA draft. After working out with the Golden State Warriors in September, he was traded to the Sacramento Kings in February through the G League. He most recently trained with the Philadelphia 76ers in June.

Johnson, while not meeting expectations, is a competent wing defender with NBA career averages of 6.2 points and 3.1 rebounds. However, he shoots only 39% from the field and 30% from three.

Johnson, who currently plays for club USA in the 2025 FIBA AmeriCup Qualifiers, brings international experience to the new club.
