Burnley return to play on Saturday as they travel to London to face Brentford.
Vincent Kompany has stated that the Clarets may have some players return from injury for the encounter after a two-week international break.
Meanwhile, Jordan Beyer and Hjalmar Ekdal are expected to miss out, and Ameen Al-Dakhil is a doubt, leaving Kompany with a probable shortage of centre-backs.
With that in mind, here’s how we expect the Clarets to line up at Gtech Community Stadium…
1. GK – James Trafford
Vincent Kompany has clearly put his faith in the youngster, who has made the step-up from League One.
2. RB – Connor Roberts
The Welshman should come straight back into the side after Vitinho was preferred for the Chelsea game.
3. CB – Dara O’Shea
The Irishman is one of very few fit centre-backs at this moment in time.
4. CB – Ameen Al-Dakhil
According to Vincent Kompany, the defender has made good progress since being forced to withdraw from the Belgium squad.
5. LB – Charlie Taylor
The left-back has quickly made himself a regular after being left out at the start of the season.
6. CM – Josh Cullen
Assuming he’s returned from international duty in good health, he’s one of the first names on the team sheet.
7. CM – Josh Brownhill
The skipper is confident the Clarets will pick up points over the next few weeks.
8. CM – Sander Berge
The midfielder’s height could prove crucial against a tall and direct Brentford side.
9. RW – Zeki Amdouni
The Swiss forward will be keen to get back in the side after dropping to the bench against Chelsea.
10. LW – Wilson Odobert
The youngster will be out to build on a promising run of form after scoring against Chelsea.
11. ST – Lyle Foster
Keeping Foster fit and healthy will be key if Burnley are to stay up this season.
