Damien Harris, a former Alabama running back, will join the Crimson Tide Sports Network radio crew as the sideline reporter for Crimson Tide football games this season. Chris Stewart will remain as play-by-play announcer, with Tyler Watts as color commentator.
Harris attended Alabama from 2015 to 2018, then played four seasons in the NFL with the New England Patriots before finishing his career with the Buffalo Bills in 2023. Harris will replace Christian Miller, who was the CTSN sideline reporter last season.
Along with the adjustments to the football broadcast team, Alabama announced that the ‘Hey Coach’ radio show will now air on Wednesdays from 6-7:30 p.m. at Baumhower’s Victory Grille, 500 Harper Lee Dr., Tuscaloosa. Alabama broadcaster Chris Stewart will host the show, which will also include Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer and a student-athlete. The first presentation of 2024 will be on August 14, with coach DeBoer making his first appearance on August 28.
Alabama will open their 2024 season at home against Western Kentucky on August 31. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
