Breaking news: AC Milan confirm deal with official announcement

AC Milan and Corpay, a specialized business payments company, have recently revealed a fresh collaborative venture. In this new association, Corpay has been designated as the official partner for foreign exchange (FX) services for the renowned football club.

Brad Loder, Vice President for Cross-Border Marketing and Corpay Cross-Border Solutions, expressed, “Corpay Cross-Border is truly privileged to be appointed as AC Milan’s official commercial foreign exchange partner, marking a significant achievement for Corpay as it expands its presence in Italy and the sports world.”

AC Milan Enlists Corpay for International Payment Solutions

Corpay primarily aids in streamlining international business payments, offering services like currency risk management and support for global business expansion. The company is capable of processing payments in over 145 currencies across more than 200 countries.

Maikel Oettle, Chief Commercial Officer at AC Milan, conveyed his excitement, saying, “We at AC Milan are thrilled to embark on this exciting journey with Corpay. This partnership underscores our mutual dedication to innovation and seamlessly aligns with our vision of delivering top-notch experiences to our global fanbase.”

Corpay has recently entered into similar sports sponsorship agreements with international football clubs. The company partnered with Aston Villa in September. Corpay became the club’s official commercial FX partner as a result of this relationship, providing solutions to manage foreign exchange risks and streamline global payments.

Corpay, Aston Villa’s official commercial FX partner, assists the club by expanding its services to the club’s network of corporate business partners. This means that these entities can use Corpay’s platform to properly manage their foreign exchange exposure, according to the company’s announcement of the arrangement.

The statement continued: “With our strong focus on growing the Corpay brand, along with our corporate payments and foreign exchange business globally, we are excited by the opportunity to partner with one of the Premier League’s oldest and most successful football clubs.”

Corpay has been actively growing its ties across the financial sector outside of sports. The company announced a partnership with Sila Inc., a finance software platform, last year. This collaboration gives Sila’s customers access to a variety of currencies and cross-border payment possibilities in over 100 countries.
