JUST IN: Ravens Receive Ground-breaking News Regarding QB Lamar Jackson

Lamar Jackson’s incredible display in the Baltimore Ravens’ 35-14 victory over the New York Giants has become a familiar sight for his teammates. Offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley admitted he’s no longer surprised by Jackson’s ability to rack up multiple touchdown passes in a game. However, Jackson’s latest accomplishment—throwing five touchdown passes—was historic, marking the seventh time he’s done so with as many or fewer incompletions than touchdowns. This achievement broke the previous record of six such games held by Peyton Manning and Drew Brees.

Jackson’s performance against the Giants was nothing short of brilliant. He completed 21 of 25 passes (84%) for 290 yards and threw touchdowns from distances of 13, 49, 20, 21, and 27 yards. Despite an early fumble on a first-quarter run, Jackson bounced back to lead the Ravens to five straight touchdown drives. His showing wasn’t just efficient but also historic, tying Patrick Mahomes for the most games with five touchdown passes in a quarterback’s first 100 NFL games.

Pro Bowl linebacker Roquan Smith highlighted Jackson’s evolution as a quarterback. While he’s long been celebrated for his dual-threat abilities, Smith noted Jackson’s shift toward a more traditional pocket-passing style, using his mobility only when necessary. This growth has been widely acknowledged by his teammates, who now see Jackson’s performances as extraordinary even by his high standards.

Jackson’s passing game was especially dominant when he had time in the pocket. Under minimal pressure, he completed 17 of 18 passes for 210 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his deep-ball accuracy. He excelled on throws of 10 or more yards, completing 7 of 9 attempts for 155 yards and four touchdowns—his best performance yet in this category. The Giants’ defensive schemes anticipated Jackson’s deep throws, but he executed them flawlessly, supported by excellent protection from his offensive line.

With 34 touchdown passes and just three interceptions this season, Jackson is on pace for another MVP-caliber campaign. He joins Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady as the only quarterbacks in NFL history to throw 30 or more touchdowns with fewer than five interceptions in a season’s first 14 games. His outstanding play has solidified his reputation as one of the league’s elite quarterbacks and positioned the Ravens as strong contenders heading into their next matchup.

The Ravens face a pivotal game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, where a victory would tie them with the Steelers for first place in the AFC North. However, a loss would hand the division title to Pittsburgh. Focused on the challenge ahead, Jackson is determined to maintain his strong form and improve his record against the Steelers as the Ravens aim for a postseason push.
