The Detroit Lions head into this weekend’s matchup against the Buffalo Bills in relatively good health compared to recent weeks. The team has ruled out just one player, linebacker Trevor Nowaske, for Sunday’s game. Key players expected to suit up include left tackle Taylor Decker, defensive tackles Alim McNeill and D.J. Reader, and defensive linemen Joshua Paschal and Levi Onwuzurike. While the Lions still have a significant number of players on injured reserve and others playing through injuries, they are in better shape than they’ve been in previous weeks.
The Buffalo Bills, meanwhile, have their own injury concerns. Cornerback Rasul Douglas has been ruled out, and eight players are listed as questionable, including tight end Dalton Kincaid, safety Damar Hamlin, and multiple backup linemen. Backup offensive tackle Tylan Grable is also questionable. However, wide receivers Keon Coleman, Amari Cooper, and Curtis Samuel—who have been dealing with injuries—are expected to play.
The Lions, riding an impressive 11-game winning streak, aim to keep their momentum going against a Bills team looking to bounce back from a loss to the Rams that snapped their own seven-game streak. Kickoff at Ford Field is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday.
