Breaking: Kansas State football to land commitment for ‘highly-rated’ offensive weapon, 11 players officially leave program

It’s hard to realize the fall transfer window is just open since Monday. Over the last two days, Kansas State has lost nearly a dozen football players through the transfer portal. But Chris Klieman and the Wildcats have been working hard to replenish their roster. As a result, they have already identified a huge number of probable inbound transfers. K-State signed a new crop of high school talents last week and will face Rutgers in the Rate Bowl. However, recruiting does not halt throughout this time of year. “We’ve got a busy week,” K-State coach Klieman explained. “We have finals this week. We’re trying to sneak in some practice. We’re hoping to get a couple of lifts in.

It’s a busy week with plenty going on, but our focused bowl preparation will ramp up toward the end of the week. Managing the transfer portal’s activity can be challenging, so here’s an update on the current situation for the Wildcats:
