Syracuse judge refuses to perform marriage for same-sex couple

According to sources, a Syracuse City Court judge recently refused to officiate at a wedding for a same-sex couple. Judge Felicia Pitts Davis was set to preside over arraignments on Saturday, Nov. 16, and two weddings were planned, according to legal professionals acquainted with the situation. According to the reports, Pitts Davis officiated the first wedding, which was for a heterosexual couple, but refused to officiate the second because it featured two women.
