Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills outperformed the San Francisco 49ers on “Sunday Night Football” in Week 13, winning 35-10. Despite near-whiteout conditions and accumulating snow on the field at Highmark Stadium, Allen finished with 166 total yards, four touchdowns, and a 76.5% completion rate on 17 attempts. The 2024 MVP candidate was also the first player in NFL history to score a throwing, running, and receiving touchdown in the same game, which he accomplished on a wild goal line lateral play with wide receiver Amari Cooper. On Wednesday, the NFL announced Allen as the AFC Offensive Player of the Week.
The AFC’s other Week 13 awardees were Los Angeles Chargers cornerback Tarheeb Still and New York Jets specialist Kene Nwangwu.
This season, the Bills’ 28-year-old star quarterback has 2,691 passing yards, 20 touchdowns, five interceptions, and a passer rating of 100.3, with an extra 334 yards and six scores on the run. The Bills’ next game is on Fox in Week 14, against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium. Sunday’s kickoff is planned for 4:25 p.m. ET.
