Breaking News: Georgia Bulldogs Flips Four-star Commit From UCF

With the early signing period for the 2025 recruiting class approaching, Georgia football fans have a good idea of the players who will join the Bulldogs and those still being pursued. However, Kirby Smart seems to be focusing on a new recruit who recently decommitted from their previous school.

4-star offensive tackle

A four-star offensive tackle from Warner Robins, GA, is ranked as the No. 226 overall player in the country, the No. 21 offensive tackle in the 2025 class, and the No. 33 player in Georgia, according to 247Sports.

Originally committed to UCF in July, Brown’s recruitment went quiet after that. However, on November 30, he unexpectedly decommitted from UCF and reopened his recruitment just days before the early signing period begins.

Kirby Smart and Georgia have quickly jumped into the picture, with Smart visiting Brown, likely at his high school, as seen in a recent post. This signals that Georgia is serious about pursuing Brown, though it remains to be seen if Brown is equally interested.

Over the summer, Brown took official visits to Louisville, NC State, and Pittsburgh, so these programs are also contenders. However, as an in-state recruit, Georgia likely holds a strong advantage in this recruitment.

Georgia may soon learn if they will land Brown, which would be a significant win to wrap up the recruiting cycle, especially given the importance of the offensive tackle position.
