Breaking News: Auburn Defensive Lineman Enters Transfer Portal

Auburn defensive lineman is set to enter the transfer portal, marking the end of his brief tenure with the Tigers, according to multiple reports. After transferring from Kansas ahead of the 2024 season, Keys was expected to make an impact on Auburn’s defensive line. However, despite his potential, he was unable to crack the rotation and did not record any stats during his time in orange and blue. His name has already been removed from the team’s online roster, signaling the end of his Auburn journey.

Keys isn’t the only departure on the defensive front for Auburn. The Tigers will also lose key players Isaiah Raikes, Philip Blidi, Jayson Jones, and Trill Carter, all of whom have exhausted their eligibility. This creates a significant void in Auburn’s defensive line, which will need to be filled heading into the upcoming seasons.

However, the Tigers are not left empty-handed. Returning players TJ Lindsey, Malik Blocton, Quientrail Jamison-Travis, and Joe Frazier Jr. are expected to lead the interior defensive line next year, providing some stability for the unit. With these veterans, Auburn is poised to remain competitive on the defensive side of the ball, even as they face these departures.

Looking ahead, Auburn is already securing its future by adding four highly regarded interior defensive linemen to its 2025 recruiting class. These new commitments are set to inject fresh talent and depth into the Tigers’ defensive front, giving Auburn fans hope for a strong and dynamic defensive line in the coming years.
