Breaking: Kansas State Football 5-Star player makes surprise decision to de-commit from program and join rivals

Tight end was in town as the No. 1 Oregon Ducks annihilated rival Washington to complete a flawless regular season. Despite his present commitment to the Kansas State Wildcats, Cure was quite impressed by head coach Dan Lanning and the Ducks after visiting Eugene.

The five-star TE signed to the Wildcats on July 1, 2024, joining a program that currently lacks a legitimate tight end on its projected roster after this season.

However, witnessing the Ducks defeat the UW Huskies may have swung the tide in Oregon’s favor for the top player in the 2025 recruiting class.

Cure boasts impressive times on the track, including 11.05 seconds in the 100-meter dash, 14.49 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles, 21.90 seconds in the 200-meter dash, and 38.90 seconds in the 300-meter hurdles. In addition to football, Cure has also played basketball throughout high school.

While Crystal Ball experts remain confident in Cure’s commitment to the Kansas State Wildcats, they suggest the Oregon Ducks still have a shot at flipping him.
