He’s different when the ball hits his hands,” Smart said. “He bursts in the hole. Sometimes he’s too fast and not as patient as he should be, but you can’t deny how hard he runs, how hard he works, and how much he loves the game. The linemen love playing with him.”
Smart also praised Frazier’s consistency, noting that he has been performing at a high level in practice each week. “He competes in practice, gets better, and with a big, physical offensive line like we had, it gave us a huge advantage.”

With several running backs sidelined due to injury, Georgia has relied on Nate Frazier to step up, and he has done just that—exceeding all expectations. Despite being just a freshman, Frazier’s performance has shown his immense potential, making him one of the most promising running back talents Georgia has seen in recent years.
