Taylor Swift is wrapping up her “Eras Tour” with a final performance at Toronto’s Rogers Centre on Saturday, Nov. 23. This timing could potentially allow her to travel to Charlotte on Sunday to watch her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Carolina Panthers. However, it seems unlikely she’ll attend the Week 12 game. Although it’s not entirely out of the question, Swift has yet to attend an away game for the Chiefs this season. She’s been present at five Chiefs games so far, all at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Since Sunday’s matchup is set to take place at Bank of America Stadium, there’s a good chance the superstar won’t be in attendance.
A popular Charlotte-based bar, Dilworth Neighborhood Grille, playfully tried to entice Taylor Swift to attend the Panthers-Chiefs game with a witty message. The marquee sign read, “Taylor Swift, don’t shake this game off, KC might lose,” as shared on Instagram by CarPanthersNews. Known for its humorous signs about the Panthers, the bar previously gained attention before the 2024 NFL Draft with a message that read, “PLEASE LET THE COACH & GM PICK THIS YEAR.” That sign even caught the eye of Panthers owner David Tepper, who stopped by the establishment.
Swift references aside, that’s certainly one way to encourage Taylor Swift to attend. With the Chiefs coming off their first loss of the season in Week 11, Travis Kelce and his team could use a bit of extra luck to regain momentum. While the Panthers sit at 3-7 this season, they’ve managed back-to-back wins, albeit against struggling teams like the New Orleans Saints and New York Giants. The Chiefs are clear favorites heading into the matchup, but having a touch of “Swift luck” could benefit both Kansas City and North Carolina.
