Just In: Virginia Tech football Receive Ground-breaking News Regarding RB Bhayshul Tuten

Virginia Tech Hokies Running Back Bhayshul Tuten will attend the famous Reese’s Senior Bowl in January. The Senior Bowl is a week-long event in Mobile, Alabama that serves as the premier NFL showcase for draft-eligible athletes.

Following a week of practice in front of NFL coaches, scouts, and general managers from all 32 NFL teams, the week culminates with a game between the two teams.

The 5-foot-11, 209-pound Tuten was having an All-ACC season before he injured his ankle at Georgia Tech Syracuse more than three weeks ago. Tuten dressed at Syracuse the following week, but did not play. He played against Clemson last week, but was clearly hobbled and had no impact.

Tuten carried the ball four times for zero yards but caught two passes for 21 yards.

So far in nine games, including one in which Tuten was injured, he has run for 951 yards (6.5 YPC) and 12 rushing touchdowns. He averages more than 100 yards per game and shattered the Virginia Tech single-game rushing record in October, when he rushed for 266 yards and three touchdowns against Boston College.

Tuten is also a skilled receiver and kick returner, which makes him a more intriguing NFL draft potential. The new kickoff rules favor running backs, so Tuten might contribute right away as a rookie.

Jim Nagy, senior bowl executive director, is a major lover of Tuten. The Paulsboro, New Jersey native is predicted to run the 40-yard dash in around 4.4 seconds, which is an impressive time. When Tuten lands in Mobile in January, NFL teams will immediately fall in love with him because he is the entire package.

Tuten has rushed for 1,851 yards and 22 touchdowns in two years at Virginia Tech after transferring from North Carolina A&T. He also has four receiving touchdowns and two kickoff return scores.

Congratulations to Tuten, who will not be the last Hokie to earn a spot in the 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl.
