Ravens HC John Harbaugh Makes Ruthless Announcement On Justin Tucker After Steelers Loss

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, known for rarely criticizing his players publicly, did not hold back following Sunday’s heartbreaking 18-16 loss to the rival Pittsburgh Steelers. The defeat dropped the Ravens to 7-4 and dealt a blow to their AFC North title hopes, as the Steelers improved to 8-2.

Justin Tucker, typically one of the most dependable kickers in NFL history, continued his uncharacteristic struggles this season. Missing two of three field goal attempts, Tucker left six critical points on the board in a narrow two-point loss.

“Tuck has to make kicks,” Harbaugh said bluntly, according to ESPN’s Jamison Hensley.

Heading into Sunday’s game, Justin Tucker was experiencing a noticeably down season, converting just 78.9% of his field goal attempts (15-of-19). This marks a significant drop from his stellar career average of 89.7%. With six misses already in 2024, Tucker has surpassed his total of five missed field goals from all of last season—a concerning trend for the typically reliable kicker.
