Josh Allen, the Buffalo Bills quarterback, will take the field against the Kansas City Chiefs in less than 24 hours. The AFC’s two finest clubs will face off on Sunday afternoon at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park in one of the season’s most anticipated matchups. Allen is well aware that Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones will be a formidable opponent.
“He’s a game wrecker, one of the best, if not the best, interior D lineman in the game right now,” Allen pointed out. “When you combine that with their defensive backs and linebackers, they fly all over the field…” We’re going to have our hands full. It’s a really solid unit that we’re about to face, and we’re just hoping to have a nice week of practice before going up there next Sunday.” While he’s focused on Jones this weekend, he was drawn to a different defensive lineman last weekend. During a 30-20 victory over the Indianapolis Colts last weekend, defensive tackle Dayo Odeyingbo made waves for attempting to punch the ball loose from Allen.
The former Vanderbilt second-round pick made contact with Allen’s head rather than the ball. The defensive end continuously hit Allen in the torso and head until the play ended.
For those asking, yes, Dayo Odeyingbo of the #Colts was fined $10,919 for repeatedly punching #Bills QB Josh Allen on a QB sneak.
It was not flagged during the game.

Surprisingly, Odeyingbo was not penalized for his play throughout the game. However, after reviewing the film, the NFL decided to fine the Colts defensive lineman $10,919, according to Bills beat reporter Ryan Talbot. It isn’t the first time a player has attempted to punch the ball loose, nor will it be the last.
Odeyingbo, on the other hand, might want to take a boxing class or two to perfect his skills and improve his accuracy in order to retrieve the football while avoiding a punch to the wallet.
