Just In: Bills v Chiefs Game Gets Ground-breaking Announcement

Former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Peerless Price has been named the Legend of the Game for Buffalo’s matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs on November 17.

“It’s a tremendous honor,” Price shared. “When you start playing sports, it’s just for the love of the game as a kid. As you progress, making plays and building your reputation, being acknowledged like this is special. It reflects not only your performance on the field but also your character and how you treated teammates and the community. It’s a privilege even to be considered a Bills legend.”

Price is eager to experience the high-energy atmosphere from Bills Mafia during this critical game.

“It’s electric,” Price said. “No matter the stakes, the fans always bring their energy. We’ve enjoyed some fantastic seasons recently, but win or lose, they always show up in force.”

Despite living in Atlanta, Price considers himself a lifelong member of Bills Mafia due to the warm reception he experienced as a player. He’s also optimistic about the team’s prospects, given their strong 8-2 record this season.

“I believe they’ve got what it takes to win it all,” Price said. “I’m Bills Mafia all the way. I use #BillsMafia on social media because of the love and support I received in Buffalo—it was the best chapter of my NFL career.”

Drafted in the second round of the 1999 NFL Draft, Price played two stints with the Bills from 1999-2002 and 2006-2007, accumulating 288 receptions for 3,772 yards and 25 touchdowns. He debuted in the 1999 season opener against the Indianapolis Colts, recording three catches for 51 yards.

“I remember my Buffalo years vividly,” Price reflected. “I grew up there, both as a player and as a person, starting my career and ending it with the Bills.”

In 2007, Price was placed on injured reserve and underwent surgery. After retiring, he began coaching his daughter’s basketball team due to a lack of a coach. He later established his own AAU program, which now includes five teams. Price enjoys teaching the players life skills that extend beyond sports.

“I had to step up,” Price said. “It was a leap of faith… These girls need more life lessons, and sports provide a powerful platform. What I gave them extends well beyond basketball.”

Price is a proud father to two daughters, Caeden and Kai. Caeden played Division I soccer at Coastal Carolina, while Kai has committed to play soccer at Florida State and has represented the U.S. National Team, participating in the U-19 camp in late October.

“To say I’m proud of them is an understatement,” Price expressed about his daughters.

Price will be supporting Bills Mafia as they face off against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at 4:25 p.m.
