Patrick Mahomes drops crazy message Bills fans wouldn’t want to hear ahead of week 11 matchup

It has been 12 years since the Chiefs dropped a game in Orchard Park, New York, but that is not what bothers Bills fans.

The Chiefs have not only won four straight games in Buffalo, but they have also knocked the Bills out of the playoffs three of the last four years. That fact bothers the Bills Mafia, and they expressed their dissatisfaction in January.

After the Chiefs defeated the Bills 27-24 at Highmark Stadium in an AFC Divisional playoff game, quarterback Patrick Mahomes was pelted with snowballs as he exited the field.

The good news for Mahomes and the Chiefs coming into Sunday’s game against the Bills is that the forecast calls for a high of 56 degrees, which means no snowballs will fly.

However, Mahomes does not anticipate Bills fans to be welcoming, as he stated Tuesday during his weekly appearance on 96.5 The Fan.

“They don’t like me a lot, and they don’t like the Chiefs a lot,” said Mahomes, “so I’m sure it’ll be pretty hostile out there.”

The outcome of Sunday’s game could impact postseason seeding. According to the NFL website, the Chiefs and Bills have a better-than-99% probability of making the playoffs.

The Chiefs (9-0) are presently the top seed in the AFC, while Buffalo (8-2) is in second place. So, yes, it’s a big game, and Buffalo has won the last three regular-season games with the Chiefs.

“I think you just know it’s gonna take your best in order to win this football game,” Mahomes told the audience. “You’re playing against one of the top teams in the NFL, a club you’ve played against several times, and you know every time it comes down to the wire and we’ll be in a hostile environment.

“So we recognize that winning will require us to play our best football. That should be enough motivation.

Sunday’s kickoff is at 3:25 p.m., and CBS Sports will broadcast the event.
