Derrick Henry’s Girlfriend Sends ‘Stunning’ Message To Ravens RB After Upset Loss

The Baltimore Ravens were on cruise control entering into Week 8 of the 2024 NFL season. But just as it appeared that they were about to win another game and continue their perfect streak, the Cleveland Browns changed the script and defeated Derrick Henry and his teammates. The Browns ultimately defeated the Ravens 29-24 at home, snapping their five-game winning streak at the hands of a divisional opponent.

Despite the Ravens’ loss to Cleveland, Henry’s girlfriend, Adrian Rivas, delivered a powerful message to the running back following the game. “Win or lose, WE ARE PROUD OF OUR GUY,” Rivas wrote on Instagram Story. “To God be the glory, always,” she continued.

Henry had a season-low 11 carries in the Browns game, but he gained 73 rushing yards and a touchdown on those touches. He currently has 946 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on 145 carries, plus 66 receiving yards and two touchdowns on eight grabs.

The setback stings for the Ravens, especially considering they were knocked out of first place in the AFC North. However, there is no reason for Baltimore to be concerned because it is still in contention not only for the division title but also for the top seed in the American Football Conference.

The Ravens (5-3) may return to winning ways as soon as Week 9, when they face the Denver Broncos at home.
