Deion Sanders and Colorado scored a major commitment for the post-Travis Hunter era, landing four-star wide receiver, as reported by Hayes Fawcett of On3. Wilson, who recently decommitted from Arizona State on October 23rd, had previously pledged to both Oregon and TCU.
After announcing his decision on X, he expressed gratitude toward Arizona State’s program, saying, “Re-opening my recruitment was not an easy decision, as I hold a great deal of respect for the coaching staff and the vision you have for the program.”
Wilson cited Colorado’s offensive scheme as a big factor in his decision. “What excites me the most is the opportunity to go somewhere in the air-raid offense and start,” he told On3’s Steve Wiltfong.
Wilson will visit Colorado for their game against Cincinnati, eager to experience the offense firsthand. He’s looking forward to meeting people on campus, getting insights from Travis Hunter, and watching the rare air-raid system in action.
