BREAKING: Oregon Get Huge Boost with Return of Another Star

Oregon wide receiver will be available for the No. 1 Ducks’ home game against Illinois on Saturday, head coach Dan Lanning stated Wednesday. Holden was ejected from the Ducks’ heavyweight match against Ohio State on October 12 after spitting on one of the Buckeyes’ defenders during the first half. As a result, Lanning and the rest of the coaches disciplined Holden, keeping him out of Oregon’s upcoming game against Purdue.

Now, the Ducks’ fourth-leading receiver is back in action ahead of their game against the No. 20 Illini. “Yeah, he’ll be available,” Lanning stated after practice on Wednesday. Despite missing last week’s game against Purdue, Holden has 20 receptions for 306 yards and three scores in 2024. On Saturday, Ducks fans will see whether the Alabama transfer’s long-term role was unaffected by his misstep against Ohio State. Illinois and Oregon will meet off at Autzen Stadium on Saturday. The game will go off at 12:30 p.m. PST and will be broadcast on CBS.

No. 1 Oregon Ducks reveal uniform combination for ranked matchup with Illinois

On Saturday afternoon, the No. 1 Oregon Ducks will wear their uniforms in a game against No. 20 Illinois.

The Ducks will wear yellow and black jerseys, black pants, and black helmets versus Illinois.
Oregon coach Dan Lanning, his wife Sauphia, and their three boys devised the “Heroes” uniform set, which includes the Ducks’ jerseys and helmets. The whole uniform, which was originally worn against Michigan State on October 4, incorporates details that raise cancer awareness. Sauphia has survived cancer.

The black pants for the outfit are a remnant from their season debut against Ohio State as part of the “Fly Era” uniform set.
