BREAKING: Panthers Make Mind-blowing QB Decision With Bryce Young Trade Now Confirmed…

The Carolina Panthers are enduring a difficult rebuilding season, and head coach Dave Canales confirmed that Andy Dalton will remain the starting quarterback for their Week 8 game against the Denver Broncos. This decision comes despite Dalton’s struggles in a lopsided 40-7 loss to the Washington Commanders in Week 7, where he completed just 11 passes for 93 yards and threw two interceptions. His performance drew frustration from fans, who called for Bryce Young to replace him.

Young, a second-year quarterback, last played in a relief role against the Chicago Bears on October 6, showing some promise by completing four of seven passes for 58 yards in the Panthers’ 36-10 defeat. The organization has expressed interest in giving Young more playing time, and if Dalton continues to struggle, a change could come sooner rather than later.

Dalton now faces a daunting task in Week 8, leading the Panthers on the road against the Denver Broncos. The Broncos’ defense has been formidable, recently shutting down Spencer Rattler and the New Orleans Saints in a dominant Thursday Night Football performance. With the Panthers seeking to reverse their fortunes, cleaning up mistakes and finding some offensive rhythm will be crucial against one of the league’s toughest defensive units.

Panthers head coach Dave Canales updates on Bryce Young Trade

The Carolina Panthers appear to have shifted their strategy slightly with quarterback Bryce Young. Five weeks ago, when Young was benched, Panthers head coach Dave Canales stated that the organization would not contemplate dealing last year’s No. 1 overall pick. However, with two weeks until the league’s trade deadline, the door appears to be slightly open. Canales was asked about the team’s trade of Young again during a press conference on Monday. This time, he simply responded with the word “hypothetical,” claiming that CEO Brandt Tillis and general manager Dan Morgan are having such discussions.

Canales was also questioned if he thought Young should play again this season so the Panthers could really assess what they have in the former top selection. His response: “Right now, we’re focusing on the Broncos. Andy (Dalton) is playing this week, and that is our main emphasis.”
