On3 Vice President Steve Wiltfong made a key recruiting prediction: five-star class of 2026 edge Zion Elee will eventually commit to Oregon. Wiltfong adds that the Ducks have been in frequent contact with Elee, who has previously visited Eugene and expressed enthusiasm for the program. Elee, who stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 220 pounds, is presently ranked as the top player in his class and has had 35 offers from schools like Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. Wiltfong is confident in his commitment to Oregon.

Each of On3’s “expert predictions” is assigned a “confidence level” on a percentage scale. Wiltfong’s Elee prediction was listed with 60% confidence.
Wiltfong has been correct on 345 of 372 predictions since joining On3, for a 92.74% accuracy rate. In other words, his prediction on Monday bodes well for Duck fans and the class of 2026. According to On3, Oregon now has the nation’s top class of 2026.
Elee’s commitment would further strengthen its position at the top. The Ducks return to action on Saturday, hosting Illinois in a Big Ten matchup. The game will go off at 12:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on CBS.
