Breaking News: Pittsburgh Steelers To Get Huge Boost With Return Of Another Top Star

The Pittsburgh Steelers had to manage at outside linebacker against the Las Vegas Raiders, with Jeremiah Moon and Ade Ogundeji stepping up to fill the gaps. Moon even made a significant play with a blocked punt, adding some flair to the rotation.

However, the Steelers could benefit from having either Nick Herbig or Alex Highsmith back, and it looks like they will get their wish for the upcoming game against the New York Jets. According to sources from PennLive, Pittsburgh expects Highsmith to return this week.

Highsmith resumed practice last week, participating in two limited sessions. As long as he avoids any setbacks, he is expected to practice fully throughout the week and should be ready to play after missing three games due to a groin injury.

Herbig’s status, however, remains uncertain. With Highsmith’s return, the Steelers will have their full starting defensive line together for the first time since Highsmith’s injury against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Moon will likely continue as the third outside linebacker, a role he has proven capable of handling with his solid performance as a starter against the Raiders.
