NFL Insider Ian Rapoport initially reported the news on X, stating that Miami anticipates he will be out for some time:

“Dolphins standout S suffered a broken bone in his hand during the team’s win over the Patriots, sources say,” Rapoport shared. “One of the top young defenders in the NFL, Holland is expected to miss time.”

Before the injury, Holland had recorded five tackles and defended a pass. After he exited in the fourth quarter, Elijah Campbell took over in his place.

The Dolphins’ victory brought their record to 2-3, and they’ll aim to even it out when they face the Indianapolis Colts next week at Lucas Oil Stadium.
