Just In: Huskies Receive Ground-breaking Commitment News

Yesterday’s win was crucial not only for the Huskies’ 2024 bowl hopes but also from a recruiting perspective, as the team hosted numerous top prospects to experience the game day atmosphere. Among them was one of California’s largest (in both talent and size) recruits.

Three-star offensive lineman Peter Langi, from Archbishop Riordan HS in California, visited for an official visit. Standing at 6’5” and around 330 pounds, Langi is ranked as the 58th best interior offensive lineman. He has already visited Arizona and holds offers from powerhouse programs such as Alabama, ASU, Auburn, LSU, Miami, Oklahoma, and Texas. With five offensive linemen already committed for 2025, the Huskies are looking to add more depth, and Langi could be a valuable addition. With proper coaching and a strong strength and conditioning program, he has the potential to become a standout lineman. The Huskies also have a commitment from his high school teammate, four-star wide receiver Chris Lawson, and appear to be in a good position to land Langi if they push for him.

Langi was the only official visitor this weekend, but many of the Huskies’ 2025 commits (like Vander Ploog, Zaydrius Rainey-Sale, Chris Lawson, Deji Ajose, and Jonathan Epperson) were on campus unofficially. The 2026 class, which is strong on the West Coast, also had several notable visitors:

– Four-star defensive lineman Bott Mulitalo from Lone Peak HS in Utah attended. Mulitalo, rated as the 4th best defensive lineman in the 2026 class, is one of the top prospects on the West Coast. Though the Huskies would love to add him to their defensive line, they face stiff competition from Oregon, Utah, BYU, and Texas A&M. Mulitalo’s early interest in Washington is promising for the Huskies’ recruiting efforts.

– Four-star linebacker Talanoa Lli from Orange Lutheran HS in California, rated the 28th best player in the 2026 class and the 4th highest-rated player in California, made the trip for the game. Lli holds offers from Miami, Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and several others. The fact that he visited on his own indicates significant interest, though his recruitment is far from over.

– Four-star safety Bralan Womack from Hartfield Academy in Mississippi also visited. Rated the 31st best player and the top safety in the 2026 class, Womack has shown great interest in Washington, despite competing offers from Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi State, and others. His visit shows the Huskies’ ability to attract top talent from all over the country.

– Four-star cornerback RJ Sermons from Rancho Cucamonga HS in California, the 5th best cornerback and 50th best player nationally, was another top prospect on campus. Sermons, who boasts a 10.72-second 100-meter dash, has offers from elite programs like Alabama, Georgia, and Texas, with USC being an early favorite. His visit to Seattle is a positive step in the Huskies’ pursuit.

– Rounding out the 2026 visitors was four-star offensive lineman Tommy Tofi, Langi’s teammate at Archbishop Riordan HS. Tofi, standing at 6’6” and around 320 pounds, is the 88th best player and 4th best interior offensive lineman nationally. The Huskies are considered early favorites but will need to fend off competition from Miami, Oregon, Ohio State, and others.
