Josh Allen takes mind-blowing decision after loss to the Houston Texans

There are several storylines to examine following the Buffalo Bills’ Week 5 loss to the Houston Texans. For starters, this club started 3-0 but is currently 3-2.

This squad appeared to be the best in football after three weeks, but were the Bills simply taking advantage of an easier schedule to begin the season? Buffalo has lost two games in a row to some of the AFC’s top teams, which should be cause for concern.

Aside from attempting to determine which Bills club this is, another storyline this week was the first meeting between former Buffalo wide receiver Stefon Diggs and his previous team.

All eyes were focused on any potential connection between Diggs and his former quarterback, Josh Allen. Most of us have already followed the saga of their romance. Throughout their time together in Buffalo, their relationship appeared to be up and down, but Allen always went on the side of mutual respect when discussing his former teammates.

Following the Bills’ setback on Sunday afternoon, it was time for the long-awaited meeting between the two of them.

Following the game, cameras watched Allen shake hands with his opponents. The cameras also showed Allen visibly seeking out his former teammate to congratulate him.

For those who haven’t seen the screenshot of Diggs’ viral “side eye” look at Allen, it’s been the main focus of discussion regarding the receiver’s point of view. What about Allen, though? There was more of the same.

Despite the “controversy,” Allen remains focused on football. He was asked after the game about the previous week’s buildup to the battle between him and Diggs, particularly on social media. However, Allen did not take the bait. He took the road of a true professional.

“I am not on social media. I do not see any of that. He’s on their squad, a great player who made some good plays tonight for them. “He was on the winning team,” the quarterback explained.

Diggs clearly took this game more seriously than Allen did. Diggs had plenty of ideas and emotions about this one, which came as no surprise.

“I can’t deny that I thought about this game when I was traded. I kept my energy under check for the entire week. I just try to be professional, but it obviously meant a lot to me. “I wanted to do more showing than telling,” he told the Democrat and Chronicle.
