Just In: Ole Miss Offer Magnolia State’s Top, Young Wide Receiver

The Rebels and the Tennessee Vols are his first two SEC offers.

The Ole Miss Rebels have joined the search for one of Mississippi’s finest young wide receiver prospects. Ole Miss has extended an offer to Sheldon Isaac, a wide receiver from McComb (Miss.) High School in 2027, adding to an already lengthy list of offers. Isaac currently holds offers from Ole Miss, Tennessee, Tulane, Louisiana-Monroe, Grambling State, and Florida A&M.

Isaac has yet to be rated by 247Sports. The ninth grader weighs 170 pounds and stands 6 feet 2 inches.

In an interview with local media, Sheldon Isaac said, “The offer from Ole Miss means a lot to me,” Isaac told Inside the Rebels. “I enjoy Ole Miss a lot. I see myself there, too. I love it. I adore the coaching staff. The coaches are quite terrific up there. I like the fans and everything.”

While no official decision is imminent, Sheldon Isaac is expected to take his time and carefully weigh his options. Recruiting experts believe that a commitment could come during his senior season, as the standout receiver continues to evaluate his choices, take official visits, and speak with coaching staffs.

For Ole Miss, landing Sheldon Isaac would be a major victory in the ongoing battle to keep the state’s top talent at home. The Rebels have made significant strides in recruiting under Coach Kiffin, and adding a player of Sheldon Isaac’s caliber would bolster their future offense and help maintain their status as a serious contender in the SEC.

As the recruitment unfolds, Ole Miss fans will be eagerly watching, hoping that one of Mississippi’s brightest stars decides to stay in Oxford. With the potential to follow in the footsteps of some of the program’s greats, Sheldon Isaac has a decision ahead that could shape the future of both his career and the Rebels’ offense for years to come.
