Five-star edge rusher will return to Auburn this weekend. The 6-foot-6, 235-pound player from the 2025 class, who pledged his commitment to the Tigers, is visiting Auburn officially.
The standout from Thompson in Alabaster, Alabama, is currently ranked as the No. 19 player in the nation by 247Sports. He’s excited to be back and is eager to help recruit for the Tigers.
In 2005, No. 15 Auburn triumphed over No. 9 Georgia with a score of 31-30 at Sanford Stadium in Athens. The winning play occurred when Brandon Cox connected with Devin Aromashodu for a 63-yard pass on fourth-and-10, setting up John Vaughn’s 20-yard field goal that clinched the victory in the final moments.
This win marked Auburn’s sixth triumph in seven visits to Georgia, giving them a series lead of 53-48-8 in the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry. Interestingly, both teams had better records when playing on the road compared to their performance at home, leading to the phenomenon known as “the homefield disadvantage.”
